About Dr. Jessica Thomas

Hello, and welcome. I am Jessica Thomas, PhD, LMHC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping women navigate life's challenges and achieve meaningful emotional wellness.

I earned my Doctorate in Psychology from Liberty University, and I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I have extensive experience providing mental health services across a variety of clinical settings. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, stress management, life transitions, grief, and emotional regulation challenges.

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I specialize in helping clients process and heal from traumatic experiences that may be impacting their current emotional well-being. I understand that trauma can affect every aspect of life, and I strive to provide a safe, supportive environment where healing can occur at a pace that feels comfortable for each individual.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Trauma-Focused interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based practices, EMDR, and person-centered counseling. By integrating these approaches, I help clients build practical skills, develop resilience, improve relationships, and create lasting positive change.
